After using the community of practice tool in this module, what did you think of the online tool? Do you see yourself using this tool in your online course?

I find it a useful tool for exchanging information between a large group of people, and quepuedes add links, addresses or links, to consult infromativas sources, post content, comment on the work of other colleagues and receive suggestions for improvement, especially know cultures and different criteria, which leads us to extend our view and vision of education and how we can contribute to make this better.

I would before implementing a course, handle better and combine it with other tools that we have suggested here for further nospermita issues in the present system, because of time, it is not possible to review as we would like.

What are the main challenges faced in the transition from f2f environment to an online environment.

1. - Open lines of communication, without involving our stay online.

2. - Respond to time regarding questions and assessments during the course, that student will not feel confused or discouraged about your performance.

3. - Manjear appropriately timed delivery, discussions, reports and all kinds of activities that are required in the course.

4. - Encourage and remind the group about the importance of being in touch periodically to be aware of its development, changes and see the work of all members.

5. - Know various online tools and diversify properly to avoid falling on a saturated course online activities, better promote the updating in this area, to take advantage of this resource as educational benefit.


I think I'm part of the challenges that I have to handle at the moment have to coordinate an online course.

The challenges presented students passing f2f environment to an online environment.

I think that would be some challenges, interaction with other members, it is customary in the face groups, find affinity with some colleagues, and this situation does not occur equally in line, we can comment on our work, express opinions, contribute ideas, but no socialization as in a classroom.


Another would be the implementation of work schedules, depending on the group is moving more or less but not at the same pace at all, so sometimes delivery dates go merits, and not the case here, once you agree to take the course is very important to take into account the delivery time for each activity.


Teamwork, I played online and in another course, the immediacy of delivery, precisely in order to review it by all and build a work only in classes, are entrusted to be every day and revise at the last moment.


Have a reading habit, something I've noticed is lost in recent generations of students, and thus the analysis of texts and sometimes video, and consequently take notes of the information being processed, still has a habit of summary notes the teacher.


I think that generally those would be the principal challenges ahead.

Reflection about being online instructor


As to be online instructor feel it is an area of ​​my profession that I require driving today, as most of the institutions begin to use this new educational system, as an option, and I notice that for some students, especially people it works, it is more practical and functional option for this system.

Similarly consider very useful the management of all the options mentioned in the course, as I've noticed in conversations with some colleagues who are close to social networks (facebook, Whatss app) or search engines (google, yahoo answers) how unique alternative ways to supplement the teaching-learning process, ignore all the options that can be accessed.


I hope to learn about new tools, stategies and skills during this certification process,  that allow me to complement the different subjects I teach, high school and university level, to meet the education required  system and support its growth and developing a new generation of professionals that make up the institutions to which it can develop my work.

Likewise, transmit these tools to my students and colleagues so that each of you consider relevant use for his performance and as students.


During the process, I consider some challenges will  present to me like this: lack of certain technical training on the management of the computer, using the  applications mentioned during the course and perhaps some of this tools.
